Getting to know ourselves and our community - CITIZENSHIP!!!
So far in our Topic work we have looked at where we fit in our family, community, our country and the world. We are also learning about being a citizen to different countries. We learnt about our Rights a few days ago and the responsibilities that come with those rights. Some of the rights we talked about were living in peace, safety, being able to say what we believe, food,shelter and clothing. We also have started a presentation on refugees. I have done my presentation on a family that had moved from England to New Zealand. i have just done my presentation for my class. I was very nervous. I think I did pretty well, but there are a few things I need to work on.
