We have just done our Basic Facts ladder test. I got up to Stage 8 which is the highest stage in the test. I am very happy!!! We have just marked our Geometry Test and I need to work on the following: Calculating Angles The features of circles Circles Calculating the volume of a object The names of lines and line segments.
Our WALT for 22/03/2010 is: Measure Circles and the parts of circles.
Also at the moment we are learning about angles. At the end of the week we will be having a pop quiz on angles. Here are some examples of angles:
A Right Angle: An angle that measures 90 degrees
An Acute Angle: An acute angle is an angle that measures from 0 to 90 degrees
An Obtuse Angle: An angle that measures from 90 to 180 degrees

Term 3:
This term for maths we are doing Multiplication and Division. I love this unit as I love doing Multiplication and Division. I am also good at it. We have also learnt about using Multiplication & Division to solve equations.
We have done Algebra for the last part of the term. This involves equations and relationships. I have found it good but I don't get all of the Algebra. I think I need to learn more about Graphing equations and equations as well as learning more about pro-numerals. We have been doing a lot of work on Mathletics which is good but when you go onto support you can't ask about specific things because it is a computer, not a human. We also did some bookwork.
